Are yearly boosters for cat vaccinations really safe?

The most current research suggests that cats don’t need yearly boosters, but that they do need them every three years. If a vet is pushing yearly boosters then perhaps it’s time to shop for a vet who’s more current on the latest research. My own vet was only vaccinating at a three year interval even before it became the norm. Yearly is definitely too often.
