Are yachts charter as safe as cruise ship ?
Yachts and crew: all the private yachts used for charter are classed and or certified (MCA, RINA, RINAVE, Lloyd, BV…) and are run by professional crewmembers that meet the international regulation (STCW95). The Yachtmaster and STCW95 are internationally recognized and industry standard courses in the superyacht world. During the Captain’s briefing, the crew will show you the ermergency procedure as well as the available safety equipment. Security: first, you know and you can choose every Guest onboard. Modern yachts come with video camera (CCTV) (engine room, aft-deck, flybridge) that show who is boarding the yacht at any given time.
