In my opinion women are not treated fair in the trucking industry. In my first job that I had driving a truck for W. L. A., Inc in Mount Airy, NC as a Team Driver, I requested a non-smoker trainer. I received a smoker trainer. The male trainee got the non-smoker trainer. The next issue was cell phones. I had a mother in the nursing home very sick. I told them that if I received a call on my phone, it would be to discuss her. I got a call in regards to her health.
