Are women too caught up today in terms of conforming to the ideal body image?
WITHERSPOON: I think so, although I think women are also becoming more conscious of not putting so much pressure on themselves. The idea should be to stay fit, lead a healthy lifestyle, and have an interesting life and not starve yourself to be the thinnest you can be. Q: How irritiating is it to you that the press is constantly printing rumours about your marriage to Ryan Philippe being on the rocks? WITHERSPOON: It’s so annoying, sometimes. I think it all started when I said that Ryan and I were seeing a couples therapist because we wanted to work out our problems and learn how to make our marriage work better. But that was several years ago and these stories somehow keep coming out and they’re absolutely not true. Ryan and I love each other very much and he’s a great guy.
