Are women sexualised in romance comedy films?
I don’t think so. I think they’re portrayed to be more romantic, cute and perfectly feminine. Women are mostly sexualized in manly movies. Whereas romantic comedies movies are made more for women and sexualizing them would turn women off to the movie because of it so the producers are sure not to make a romantic comedy sexualize a woman. Whereas a manly movie, the men like the sexualized women on the screen so the producer and director will play that up to the tilt so that it appeals to the men.
