The new book Defying Gravity also includes lyrics for “For Good,” “Defying Gravity,” “The Wizard and I,” and others along with stories of how each song was written. Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman provided stories about they developed the songs and the story. Defying Gravity provides the most extensive account of this material, with 150 pages on Wicked.
