Actually, I believe the price for the Wicked tickets has gone up to about $28–make sure you have cash and an id on you, because you’ll need both should you win. You and your friend can each put in for two tickets. Your chances depend on how many people show up for the lottery. Tuesday is not a huge night for theater, but there’s always some competition for the seats. The seats are the first two center rows. Should you not get the lottery, you have some choices: Again, stand in line for cancellations. (You’ll have to pay full price if anything does come through.) You can also go to the TKTS booth up until showtime ( http://www.tdf.org/TDF_ServicePage.aspx?… ) where they have discounted tickets for several shows with tickets to spare. (I don’t think Wicked has ever been on the list) You can expect to pay about $55 for an Orchestra seat (half price).
