Are what students learn today in physics classes real/complete physics or just physics-themed math problems?
I taught HS physics for 23 years. Math is the language of physics. However, one must know the concepts that preceded the equations. I could teach almost anyone with any math skills to plug some numbers into an equation and arrive at an answer. However, to understand the math you must understand the physics concept first. I am afraid that too often physics is treated as just another math course.
