In most restaurants, hotels and tourist sites Western style toilets are available. However, in more remote areas (including the Great Wall of China) be prepared for Eastern style toilets. Toilet paper is not always available either, so it is recommended to bring a few small packs of tissues with you and to carry them in your bag at all times.
