Are wedding or bridesmaids dresses allowed to be carried?
Yes. They must be carried in the aircraft hold. You may carry these items to the gate where they will be taken from you and placed in the hold last. We recommend that you pack the dresses suitably for carriage whilst in the hold of the aircraft. Please note: We shall have no liability whatsoever for damage to articles not permitted to be contained in checked Baggage, including fragile or perishable items, items having a special value, such as money, jewellery, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, negotiable papers, securities, or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identification documents, or samples.
