Following the commandments is not the formula to get into heaven if that is the point of your question. Salvation, treating God as Lord, having a love relationship with Father God, loving your neighbor…. That is how to get into heaven. Jesus is the only way, accepting Him into your heart and living your life in the way that He showed us. If salvation could be acheived through the law, Jesus didn’t have to die for us. His sacrifice is the only way. Read Romans 6. The rules are not thrown out with Jesus, they’re just simplified. Love each other and Love God pretty much covers all the OT laws. When we love, we won’t steal, lie, murder, cheat…..
