No. Although we would obviously hope that you come back to us for future development work; if for no other reason than you feel we did such a good job for you on the first phase! If you so request we will sell you (as an option) all the relevant source code, so you’re not tied to us in any way. You can then get other qualified people to do the future development work for you. The source code is not included as standard in the price. We don’t automatically supply the source code because most clients have no use for it, so we can reduce the costs to you accordingly. A system including the source code is more expensive than a compiled system (one which provides no access to the source code). Can you reduce the cost by re-using parts from other projects?
