I would think so. Unlike mineral oil and petroleum products, wax cannot be washed out. An example of using a wax product is when people get dreadlocks, they apply wax to their hair and scrunch it up. The effect is permanent… you either have to cut it off or wait for it to grow out, because melting it off isn’t really an option if you don’t want to get burned and you don’t want to lose your hair… Technically, wax isn’t BAD for your hair, like dying it, it is just permanent once applied and it can give you a really bad hair day.
