Are Volunteers covered by the DEECD WorkCover Policy?
Claims lodged by Volunteers are covered by a WorkCover policy with CGU Workers Compensation (Vic) Ltd and are processed as standard claims. Forms should be clearly marked ‘volunteer’ in the Worker Details section of the Worker’s Claim Form and in the Employment Details section of the Employer’s Claim Report Form.
