Are Vitacare mattresses and foam overlays flame retardant?
Yes, they are flame retardant. The polyurethane foams used meet flammability requirements of California Technical Bulletin 117, Sections A & D. The Visco-elastic foam meets the flammability requirements of CAL 117, Section A (only Section A tested). The covers used for our mattresses are also fire retardant.
