Are Virtual Universities a Threat to Brick and Mortar Traditional Universities?
Virtual Universities are not a threat to the existing Brick and Mortar Universities. There will always be some who choose the Traditional Brick and Mortar Institutions for the “College Experience”. Many young people look forward to getting away from their parents so they may live on their own, have some privacy and, let’s face it, to party.Virtual Universities are for those who have the maturity to work on their own toward their goals. Individuals who have some life experience under their belts are more likely to select the Virtual University. Such individuals value their time, respect their own ability to chart their own course and have the confidence to make life choices when it comes to preparation for their Degree.
