Are virtual classes easier than traditional classes?
No, they are about the same. Virtual classes may feel more intense because the traditional 16 week term is accelerated into an 8 week term. Sometimes people come into an online class thinking it will be like a “correspondence course.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Online classes require a tremendous amount of interaction among students and between students and faculty — more so, in fact, than in the traditional classroom because everyone must participate.
