Are video babes just stupid girls?
Paris Hilton is worryingly fond of pink, and so am I. However, unlike Paris Hilton, I’m also a big fan of Pink, aka Alecia Moore. Of course, I’m only assuming that Paris doesn’t like Pink (and not just because the only people left in Hollywood that she hasn’t feuded with are Lassie and whoever played the xylophone on Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You), but it’s likely that once she sees Pink’s video for Stupid Girls, war will be declared. And, hell, why not? The video features Pink dressed up as (variously) Mary-Kate Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, Hilton and various plastic starlets, in a vicious satire of today’s image-obsessed pop culture. One recent night, I retreated to the couch and pay TV for some intensive VH1 therapy.
