Are veneers and plywood incorporated into the designs?
A. Primarily our designs are made of hand selected, solid hardwoods. We take great pride in maximizing every inch that each board yields. Walnut-faced (veneered) plywood is incorporated into larger pieces where using solid wood does not make sense and would therefore be a disservice to the species – visually, aesthetically and practically. When applicable, we proudly incorporate Columbia PureBond, formaldehyde-free plywood.
