We as Americans have become accustomed to politicians and candidates lying and avoiding any real questions from concerned Americans. In politics, debates are no longer debates but a stage to put out very limited messages to all Americans. The idea of watching any debate to find out what a candidate is really going to do or what she or he stands for is useless. Politics is no longer about being genuine or even about relaying any message that has not been put through the grind by the political strategists. Knowing the question or questions before hand gives any candidate the opportunity to polish their message for the targeted audience. In regards to the truth, it no longer matters but all that matters is how lie is packaged to look like the truth. We as voters are more to blame than candidates themselves because we don’t want to really hear the truth.
