Well, I just compared the weights of the sandwiches in US and Europe, and they are almost the same size (actually in Europe double cheeseburger is bigger), but in US you get larger fries and drinks.

According to Supersize Me the UK Large fries are the same as the Small fries in the states! Same with the drinks and burgers! No wonder the Americans are so obese!
