Are us citizens checked by customs officials when they drive from mexico back to usa?
I have never been to Mexico, but I have been to Germany. When I came home I was the only American on my flight to be sent through the “special handling” section of customs. I firmly believe that it was because I had long hair and fit the profile of a dope head. Needless to say, if you look like a stereotype, you are more likely to be searched.
