Minor upgrades are free, major upgrades may require purchase. gwabbit automatically checks for upgrades (can be turned off in “Options” on the gwabbit toolbar). You can also check manually for upgrades. Click on the “Options” button in the gwabbit toolbar, and go to the “Upgrade” tab. You will see what version you have installed, and by clicking on the “Check now for available upgrades” button you can find out if an upgrade is available.
