Are unlabeled primers modified with a 3 phosphate?
Our unlabeled primers are not synthesized with phosphate modifications unless requested and specified as a custom primer upon ordering. Unlabeled primers are synthesized with terminal hydroxyls (5′ and 3′). Phosphate modifications at the 5′ and 3′ ends are available as custom requests.
