Are Universities going to accept young people with Diplomas?
Yes, many universities, such as Warwick, Manchester and Leeds, are backing Diplomas as having the potential to be excellent preparation for the most demanding university courses. UCAS have published the value of the Diploma in their tariff system for all levels apart from the new extended diploma level, this is to be announced. Universities will be able to specify particular combinations of options within a Diploma which reflect the entrance requirements for particular courses.
