Solaris 7 does not support USB. It’s low-level Device Assistant recognizes the presence of USB, but the Solaris Operating System has no USB support, and as a corollary, no support for USB-attached devices. Sun is involved with the USB umbrella organization and has advertised for programmers working on USB, so presumably USB will be supported by Solaris x86 in the future.
