No. Personnel offered immunisation against anthrax are encouraged to accept it, just as they are encouraged to accept immunisation against naturally occurring diseases such as yellow fever and tetanus. But all immunisations are voluntary and on the basis of informed consent. Personnel who decline the offer of immunisation are not subject to disciplinary action. Personnel who decline the offer of immunisation would deploy as planned, and any future postings are unaffected.
