Are TV Shows about Mediums and Ghost Hunting Accurately Depicted?
We now see several dramas on TV about mediums where they are portrayed as everything from psychics to detectives, spiritual counselors, law enforcers, and psychologists. In all of these roles, they are never wrong and their information and evidence always turns out to be 100% accurate. Ghost-hunting shows always portray the investigators picking up some sort of ethereal phenomena, all within the time constraints of the show. Possible alternative explanations such as environmental causes, geomagnetic and electrical interference, psychokinesis, and the mind-states of the location residents reporting the activity are rarely mentioned.
