Are trucking songs easier to write, and sing?

Not nesecarily, it’s like anything else…writing a song either comes to you in 15 minutes or it doesn’t. If the hook and over all feel of the song doesn’t come to you within about 15 minutes, you might as well wait on something else. There’s nothing different about writing a “trucking” vs. a “regular” song other than, I guess, the theme may be more apparent in a trucking song. While growing up, when did you realize you had a singing talent? I always sang in choirs and show choirs and would go to regional competitions as a child and do quite well. I never really recognized it though until I started learning to play guitar and sing along. I guess you could say after a couple of years of doing that and really defining my voice I discovered it was a talent. Tell the readers about your “drive” behind writing and performing trucking songs? Well for me it’s exciting because it combines things I love and that’s being on the road driving and music. It brings back fond childhood memories to sin
