Are treated stones natural or synthetic?
A treated gemstone is still a natural gemstone and for all intensive purposes, equivalent to its untreated counterpart. That is, untreated gemstones have also been created by the force of nature and the only interaction by man in its formation was its enhancement. Treated gemstones should not be confused with “lab”, “man-made” or “synthetic” gemstones that have been produced by humans either chemically or by another process designed to mimic the conditions found in nature to produce the product.
