Are TRDs good with children?
Thai Ridgebacks are fine with children as long as you socialize them properly. Naturally care and caution should always be taken when dealing with children and animals. An adult should always be present to closely observe a child and an animal together especially with infants. In most cases you need to worry about the children behaving badly more so than the dog. Children should be taught how to behave properly with dogs and other animals. My dog Mya is awesome with my nephews whom are 4 and 9. She puts up with them like a champ. The 4 year old can be quite a handful as well, grabbing and jumping. She has never reacted negatively. I try acquire dogs specifically for non-agressive temperament.
