Are touchpad controls better than knobs and dials?
Electronic controls are spiffier-looking than push buttons and dials, but they can be expensive to service because of their circuitry. Dial controls are less expensive than electronic, but can be difficult for some users to turn. If you’re shopping for a dryer with push buttons, be aware that the start buttons on certain models are so light to the touch that it’s easy to assume the dryer started, when it hasn’t. This can be frustrating when you’re juggling several loads.
