Are TOSHIBA SATELLITE LAPTOPS BETTER THAN HP LAPTOPS?
Toshiba make some good laptops but in my experience they have suffered from overheating problems, especially with AMD processors. I had several which were left on with the lid shut and which melted the keyboard. HP look great when purchased but over a year begin to look scruffy and have some reliability issues. (that may just be the luck of the draw) When you try to get the part replaced they insist on the laptop being returned rather than the part which is faulty (in my case a bad hard drive) Since I wasn’t prepared to be without the machine for 3 weeks, I fixed it myself and forgot the warranty.
