Are tortilla chips with salsa or guacomole dip a healthy snack?
I think guacamole dip may be higher in calories, but does contain “good, healthy fats” (but probably best to enjoy in small portions). Salsa is healthy in comparison to many sauces on the market and it’s also so simple to make at home. Chips aren’t exactly classed as healthy, but it’s definitely a plus if they’re baked rather then fried. Try to opt for salted of plain tortilla chips rather then flavoured ones, they taste just as good. Try adding things such as lettuce and tomatoes to create a tortilla chip salad. Popcorn, without anything on it, is a good low calorie snack to have, in comparison to chocolates and peanuts (I suppose peanuts in small quantities are also healthy).
