Are torrent files worth downloading?
Im not going to say anything like “ooh its a very bad thing to do” the chances of you getting a virus are very small, provided that you look at the comments of the torrent and see how many seeders (people who are uploading the file to you) there are, use a trusted torrent site like demonoid or the pirate bay (which is soon to be legalized which means you will have to pay for torrents there) All the software you need for games is winrar Daemon tools (for creating a virtual cd drive, like a CD) Utorrent (or any other torrenting programs, i recommend this though) For Movies Windows media player classic ( i recommend this, amazing player) K-lite codec pack (for playing different types of audio/video) And whenever someone has a pink pirate cross beside the name (or any color) they can be trusted.
Ok use VUZE for torrent files. or frostwire, vuze is faster. Before you open any file you download, download malware bytes and scan the file with that. download VUZE from: http://www.vuze.com/ download malware bytes from:http://software-files.download.
