Are TOEFL, IELTS or SAT scores required to apply Summer Sessions?
SAT scores are not required. All applicants from countries in which the official language is not English are required to submit official evidence of English language proficiency. English proficiency exam scores are required for record-keeping purposes only and are not criteria for admissions to Berkeley Summer Sessions. Students from institutional partners may be required to take an exam as part of the home school selection process. There is also a placement exam required if you are planning on taking ESL courses.
