Are tobacco companies targeting the third world?

I think most everyone not in the third world are targeting tobacco companies. For years they have sold their product to everyone, globally, but recently they have come under fire. Tobacco has, in my lifetime, always been known as an unsafe product, for adults only to purchase. Those whom purchase and use it do so at their own risk. But in the past few years, the tobacco industry has been targeted, taxed beyond belief, and unofficially banned to “sell” their product. If there were a study to show that tobacco use is up in third world countries, I think that the bulk of the problem is more with the continued invasions of third world countries, and their contact with our soldiers who use these products.

The tobacco companies are targeting any world that will buy their product, with the least resistance and the most profit to them.
