Are Thumanns products gluten free?
Thumann’s meats, cheeses, condiments, and pickles are gluten free. With the single exception of Thumann’s franks for deep frying. Thumann’s is the first meat company certified gluten free by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America. For a complete list of our gluten free certified products, log on to www.gfco.org. Soon Thumann’s will display the gluten free certification logo (GF) on all of our fine products. We advise you to always check and read labels for specific ingredients that you may want to avoid. Many stores use our products in preparation of meals, entrees, or sandwiches with other ingredients produced by other manufacturers that are not gluten free certified. If you are gluten intolerant, always request sanitation of the deli slicer prior to slicing Thumann’s cold cuts to prevent cross contamination of products that may contain gluten or other allergens.
