Are Three Rivers Park District facilities accessible for persons with disabilities?
Most park buildings are wheelchair-accessible, and all parks have wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities. For specific questions about accessibility of specific trails, beaches, picnic areas, etc., call (763) 559-6707. Four Three Rivers Park District are among the sites featured in the “guide to universal access at 50 recreation areas throughout Minnesota” on Wilderness Inquiry’s Web site: www.wildernessinquiry.org/mnparks. Persons with disabilities are welcome at all Three Rivers Park District programs, facilities and activities. Staff will work with individuals and groups to accommodate persons with special needs. Requests for specific services such as sign language interpretation, publications in braille or large print, etc., can be directed to the Park Guest Services Supervisor at (763) 559-6707 (TDD 559-6719).
