Are they suitable for a gluten (coeliac) or wheat-free diet?
For reasons of legal liability, we are unable to make a definitive statement on this subject. However, one of our founders is a coeliac and she has quizzed Dumon in detail and is satisfied that the chocolates are suitable for her to eat (and she does, in quite some volume). We are looking into working with Dumon in order to get their range certificated by an official coeliac organisation so that we can then make a unqualified statement on this subject. For clarity, the proprietor of Dumon has stated to us that no wheat, oats, rye or barley to which a coeliac would be affected by is used on the premises. But these chocolates are NOT certified as being wheat-free of gluten-free at this point in time.
