Sony to release new PSP bundle for Christmas Sony is trying to give you more choices during the holidays to get you interested in buying a PSP. While many of us thought they would go for a price drop, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Instead, they’re making a new PSP bundle that includes the system, a 1GB memory stick, a UMD movie, and a copy of ATV Offroad Fury. There is no price point on the bundle yet or any indications of when we can expect to see it at retail. Simply, I’m skeptical. If they keep the price around $250 this will be pretty good buy, but anything more expensive than that and it will be a hard sell. Companies like Sony need to realize that many consumers don’t care what you get with the system, they just see that big price tag on it. This goes double for parents and grandparents buying presents for the younger set during Christmas.
