Are they excited about Dad being in a CBeebies programme?
Dominic: Well, they’re excited about Space Pirates, but that’s where the excitement finishes really. They don’t really care that I’ve sweat, blood and tears to record the parts for Zorst. It doesn’t really register with my son who’ll point to Zorst on the television, you know if we’ve seen a little trailer for it or whatever, and will say, is that the bit you do Daddy? I say yes, and he goes “oh…great”, and then he’ll carry on watching the show like anyone else would, which I think is kind of fine. You know, he’s only four. But I mean they genuinely love it as well, which is good. Zorst has this catch phrase….I’m doing that thing that actor’s do…”I mean Zorst, the inspiration for Zorst…” and I don’t want to sound like that. The character Zorst, or me, or the alien or whatever, has this thing at the end of his reports, where he says “if you don’t get it, just forget it” (blows raspberry) and then does a raspberry.
