Are these DLP bulbs manufactured by Osram or Philips?
A. These bulbs are indeed made by Phillips. Both Philips and OSRAM are the two OEM manufacturers in the DLP and Projector replacement bulb market which most of the TV manufacturers source there bulbs out to but the Philips bulbs are far more superior in terms of quality. Q. Are these bulbs and housing cages brand new? A. Absolutely. All Philips bulbs and housing cages are BRAND new. Nothing we sell of Philips is refurbished. These bulbs all have original Philips packing. Q. Are there any precautions I should take when I receive the lamp? A. Do not touch the glass surface of the new lamp. Touching the glass will leave behind skin oils onto the lamp surface which will increase the chances of the bulb to malfunction due to the temperature differences on the lamp surface which can cause distorted picture quality.
