WonderWorld to bring online 3-D virtual community to children By Rodney H. WonderWorld Entertainment LLC is about to launch a virtual community for children based on the intellectual property behind its children’s television show, “Ribert & Robert’s WonderWorld,” which features an animated frog and a live-action actor in more than 30 public television markets in the U.S. The program has been around since 2005. The virtual community is going to compete head to head with Club Penguin, the largest virtual community for kids in the world, which was bought by The Walt Disney Co. in August 2007 for up to $700 million.
