Are there waiting lists to attend international schools and do schools have entrance examinations?
It is not very common to have waiting lists to attend particular schools. As Egypt grows and the number of schools increases this has made enrollment easier for parents. Most international schools will require some type of entrance examination. The majority of international schools in Egypt offer instruction in English. There are opportunities to take other foreign languages as well.
