Are there volunteer opportunities (especially during the weekends)?
There are always volunteer opportunities! If you are available in the morning, there’s morning carpool/drop-off (opening car doors and letting children out). In the afternoon, there’s evening carpool/pick-up. During the school day there are opportunities to monitor lunch, work in the library, assist teachers, etc. There are workdays scheduled at school on weekends to paint, repair, and organize classrooms. There are also volunteer opportunities at our fund raising events, the Fest and Refrigerator Art, which take place in the fall and spring, respectively.
