Are there vocational/work-related options available to students with intellectual disabilities in inclusive higher education?
An ideal inclusive higher education service provides students with intellectual disabilities not only with the option to take classes for credit, but desired work experience, internships, and vocational training. Vocational training and work opportunities should always been based on student interest and choice, and should be similar to opportunities provided for nondisabled peers.
