Are there visitor tax rebates?
UK visitors can apply for a rebate on the federal Goods and Services Tax GST paid on accommodation (up to 30 nights per visit), and on goods purchase in Ontario/Canada and taken out of the country within 60 days of purchase. Additionally, visitors to Ontario may be able to reclaim the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) on goods removed from Ontario within 30 days of purchase.
