Are there very many black Americans who are descended from ancient Egyptians?
Ancient Egyptians were not actually black. The Nubians were and are. They are often referred to as the Cushites. Take a look at the last link. Those are ancient Egyptian murals. They have black hair, as do most semitic peoples, Japanese, Chinese, and a dozen other peoples, but their skin is not “black,” it is brown – like light brown. They were not white, nor were they black. It is an area right between Africa and the Middle East. Besides, slaves were not being taken from that part of Africa.
