Are there too many parcel delivery services in London?
I’ll be honest, the industry is really struggling at the moment, so I would have a serious look into the current market environment before taking the plunge. There are a lot of parcel delivery companies operating in the London, Essex and Kent areas. Not only are you competing with these regional firms, but also the big boys – DHL, ParcelForce, CityLink etc etc. Having said that, there are plenty who do very well, the key at the moment in ensuring that no mile goes to waste. By offering low prices to the consumer you can win the business, but to afford to do that you need to keep those vehicles full day in day out. Wishing you the best of luck!
